Sad News - John Backham (died 6th October 2025)
John was a good friend of the Museum and was responsible for much of the picture framing during the last twenty years. He also carried out framing for many of the major galleries in Sussex and beyond.
Our thoughts are with his wife, Sheila and members of his family.
The Museum Opening
The museum was opened this year by Adrian Harms, BBC Sussex and BBC Surrey cricket commentator and the voice of Sussex cricket. In front of an audience of over 100 and to cries of ‘more BBC cuts’, Adrian cut the tape declaring the museum and the new exhibits open.
